A single audience share point decline in the Nielsen ratings can mean about $10 million less in ad revenue.

KUSC, which airs on 91.5 FM in Los Angeles, pulled a 3.0 audience share in December, according to Nielsen.

Channel 4 says its coverage of the Paralympics reached 20 million viewers across linear and streaming - up 23% on the Tokyo 2020 Games, helping the channel to its biggest audience share in 12 years.

The limit was set in 2004, years before streaming video started eating away at traditional TV’s audience share.

The match, which was also shown on ITV, brought in a peak TV audience of 17.8m on BBC One with a TV audience share of 63%.
