Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he had been presented with "elements of a US deal" by his Omani counterpart Badr Albusaidi during a short visit to the Iranian capital.

Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi said his country had mediated efforts to achieve de-escalation.

"We will hold intensive talks with major donor countries once the plan is adopted," Egypt's Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, said on Sunday, underlining a hope that capitals the world over will help come up with the cash.

A day earlier, Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty emphasised: "There is no alternative to the faithful and full implementation by all parties of what was signed last January."

Following talks in Cairo, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said he had agreed with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa on "the importance of moving forward with early recovery projects... without the Palestinians leaving the Gaza Strip, especially with their commitment to their land and refusal to leave it".
