On weekends, the quick service joint draws a long line of fans from across the city, thirsty for a Country Boy Brewing Cougar Bait ale, one of many local brews on tap, or a bourbon slushy.

On Thursday morning, a worker added a date stamp on the bottom of Cougar Bait cans that read “R.I.P. Merle.”

There are about 2,800 six-packs of Cougar Bait with the memorial stamp, making their way to stores.

Country Boy Brewing, owned by Kentucky natives, now distributes its core brand - Cougar Bait American blonde ale - in four states.

Look for improvement on the lower sections of trails at Cougar Bait.
