The questions rumbled in my head as I drove past yet another StretchLab recently — this one on Beverly Boulevard near Hollywood.

“We’re going through this squeezing of our ecosystem in Hollywood,” said J. Christopher Hamilton, a practicing entertainment attorney and a professor at Syracuse University who focuses on the business of media.

“He portrays us as un-American, as people who hate this country just because we come out against him,” said Magdalena Jamieson, 29, of West Hollywood.
