The label, which is owned by DJ and producer Chris Manak, a.k.a.

Victoria Police Chief Del Manak stopped a car on Highway 17 near Quadra St. in Saanich at around 6:20 p.m.

Friday after the driver reportedly tossed a lit cigarette out his window in front of Manak’s patrol unit.

When asked why, the driver told Manak “I didn’t want my car to burn.”

“The big question is what the report will say the actual gains are. I don’t think they are going to be big, because we already have a good agreement,” said Inu Manak, a trade specialist at the Cato Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington.
