Children at nursery school in Crimea are told to sing the Russian anthem every morning, even the very youngest.

In west Belfast, nursery schools have been working together to identify trends nurseries are experiencing with how ready children are for school.

Some 300 nursery schools were approved for funding in this first round, which the government says will create 6,000 new places in total.

After 18 months, George was cancer-free and started nursery school in September.

Ms Gormley said the nursery school had used funding to pay for speech and language therapy and it had made "a massive difference".
