COVID-19 has moved quickly across Louisiana, killing hundreds and infecting thousands of all ages and walks of life in the Pelican State.

By comparison, California, which has almost 10 times the population of the Pelican State, has attributed 200 deaths to the coronavirus.

But by Sunday afternoon cases were confirmed in 59 of the Pelican State’s 64 parishes, the LDH said.
