Alice Mackey, 42, of Gibbs Lane, Oakhanger, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court to face one count of murder.

Alice Mackey, 42, of Gibbs Lane, Oakhanger, has been remanded in custody to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Two 22-year-old men, both from Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of theft and criminal damage and remain in police custody.

They said they would continue to back the party's four local councillors in Basingstoke, Cheshire and Dorset.
