The Inglewood Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting at 8911 Aviation Blvd. at 3:39 p.m.

The only thing standing in the way of a seventh is Nicole Scherzinger’s sublime singing in Jamie Lloyd’s fearless re-imagining of “Sunset Blvd.”

The mother, who was not identified and only described as person in her mid-30s, was arrested at the scene in the 6800 block of Sepulveda Blvd. without incident, according to Officer David Cuellar, a public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Avoid the area of La Brea Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd for an active law enforcement investigation,” the Sheriff’s Department wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

One was the contemplative, nearly monochrome still lifes of ceramic vessels by heralded Italian artist Giorgio Morandi, which caused a stir in 1961 at the painter’s rare American gallery exhibition at Ferus on La Cienega Blvd.
