Frizell said he now does not know what to do either with her cookery books or designer clothes - both things she no longer uses.

He recalled Mrs. Jefferson reading aloud from a “cookery book” to his mother, giving instructions on how to make cakes and tarts.

In the last recession I did a cookery book called "Save with Jamie" and "Money Saving Meals."

"Because I write cookery books on freezer food, I obviously have massive giant freezers out in one of my barns," she said.

Now Chef Imogen runs pop-up stalls selling homemade bakery goods, with all the money being spent on cookery books, which will be given to local primary schools.
