In April, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved $3 million to help homeowners downwind of the fires to test their yards for lead.

At a news conference Thursday near where Dees died, De Jong said the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors was offering a $10,000 reward for leads.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is also offering a $15,000 reward for information about the homicide of Raejonette Morgan.

The California Board of State and Community Corrections ordered Los Padrinos shut down in December, but Probation Department Chief Guillermo Viera Rosa refused to comply, a move supported by the county Board of Supervisors.
