AI has helped him research a potential employer and improve cover letters, but using the tools to auto apply to jobs hasn’t yielded much success, he said.

"Maybe it's asking AI to help read a cover letter that they have already written to help refine it and help it sound a little bit more eloquent."

Today, people use it for literally everything — from planning their trips around the globe and debugging code to creating dinner recipes, scripting social media posts and customizing cover letters.
