What was once perceived as awkwardness, we now know to be Johnson’s strong suit, delivering viral moment after viral moment, such as the now-infamous shoot-down, “That’s not the truth, Ellen,” that has come to be closely tied with the downfall of Ellen DeGeneres and her career.
