The department ordered the Otter Tail County Jail in Fergus Falls to transfer all current inmates to new facilities by the close of business Thursday.

The question before the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on Thursday was narrow: whether to approve a draft plan laying out the scope of a formal environmental review for one small part of the proposed project, a 28-mile segment in Minnesota that would connect an ethanol plant in Fergus Falls to the North Dakota border, where it would connect with Summit’s network.

The mask mandate in Fergus Falls was in place for two weeks, ending on Oct.

"The Fergus Falls School District welcomes public comment and has a process in place for community members who wish to address the board," Jeff Drake, the superintendent of Fergus Falls Public Schools, told Fox News on Tuesday.
