The inquest at Exeter Coroner's Court heard from eye-witness Daniel Hoare who said he saw the men being swept off rocks at Oddicombe Beach in Torquay on 27 May 2023.

The bill also had support from two Conservative backbenchers, Sir Roger Gale and Simon Hoare.

Old Barn Garden Centre's head of security, Chris Hoare, believes proofs of purchase should be a requirement for people selling goods through online marketplaces.
