The IDF also says it has destroyed a third of Iran's surface-to-surface launchers.

On several previous occasions the IDF has acknowledged that its troops opened fire near aid sites.

The IDF said the village was "built illegally within a military firing zone" and that Palestinians live there illegally.

Iranian media had reported the latter site was targeted, but the IDF have since denied this.

There has been no comment from the IDF as yet.
