Tony Lankester, chief executive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, said: "This year's Fringe programme is filled with every kind of performance, so whether you're excited for theatre or circus, or the best of comedy, music, dance, children's shows, magic or cabaret; get ready to dare to discover this August."

Motorhome Marilyn is one of 1,792 shows announced so far for this August, which also marks the debut of Tony Lankester as CEO of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, the organisation which runs the festival.

Lankester is confident the Fringe Society has "a seat at the table" in discussions with Edinburgh City Council over controversial local issues such as the tourist tax and short-term letting.

But for Lankester, it's all a question of perspective.

"Effective livestock health surveillance provides critical data for evidence-based approaches to disease control and management, but requires reliable, high-quality and timely data drawn from multiple sources," says lead author Felix Lankester, Clinical Associate Professor at the Paul G.
