A juvenile lemon shark swims in shallow mangrove forests in the Bahamas.

It sails over the silhouettes of two nerf sharks, one lemon shark and to the immediate left of an elusive school of permit, sparking some interest but no bites.

As the wave was rising to curl, I looked back again and saw a lemon shark close to the surface.

Justin Stuller told “America’s Newsroom” on Wednesday that he was swimming in the Florida Keys when he came face-to-face with a lemon shark.

He says he moved the fish to a safer area, but as he surfaced, an eight-foot lemon shark appeared.
