"The Indian Government should release the cockpit audio for the families who lost loved ones," he said.

Local officials have refused to provide more details, saying they are focused on finding the more than 100 people still missing and notifying loved ones of deaths.

"For those of us that have lost loved ones, we've lost them, they are not coming back," she said.

"This is an extremely sad development and all of our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of everyone affected," he said.

She hurried to the Camarillo site, where she came upon a tense scene, with protesters gathering and family members of workers trying to pick up their loved ones.
