St Lucia's Julien Alfred put in a dominant performance in the women's 100m as the Olympic champion won in 10.79.

Gold medalist Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia was second in 10.77,and Marie Josée Ta Lou-Smith of Ivory Coast was third in 10.90.

But living up to her full name of 'Lucia Roberta Tough Bronze', that did not stop her, or her mum Diane.

Several hundred passengers were Jamaican, but others arrived from islands including Trinidad, St Lucia, Grenada and Barbados.
