Matt Pinfield is “fighting my way back” as he recovers from a stroke that left him in a coma earlier this year.

Matt Pinfield, a radio host and former MTV VJ, is unable to care for himself after recently suffering a ‘massive stroke,’ his daughter says in legal documents.

The Nottingham Panthers player died after suffering a neck injury from a skate during a collision with Sheffield Steelers' Matt Petgrave on 28 October.
