Noemi Hurtado said she was eating with her friends at Blair Middle School on Wednesday when the female security officer told her to stop being so loud.

That included L.A. resident Noemi Arias, 12, who made her own sign for the protest, which read “Protect public lands” and included a drawing of Smokey Bear.

Following an hour of public comment, school board member Noemi Hernandez Alexander thanked speakers for voicing their opinions but emphasized that the board is bound by state law.

“She was swaying, she was falling over, she was leaning on walls, she couldn’t hold her head up, she was slurring her words,” her mother, Noemi Valencia, told the TV station.

"Hungary is in the centre of Europe and in close proximity to the biggest industrial players in the automotive industry," says Noemi Sidlo from CATL's Hungarian division.
