Medical personnel offered a variety of drugs to treat the pain — fentanyl, 10- to 15-milligram doses of oxycodone, dilaudid and ketamine — all with little effect, according to the lawsuit.

It looked like oxycodone, but was actually fentanyl, a far more potent painkiller that can suppress a person’s breathing, according to the lawsuit.

Authorities said they were first alerted to the operation in 2020, when Beverly Hills resident Ray Mascolo was found dead, reportedly after purchasing fentanyl-laced oxycodone pills from one of Todorova’s delivery drivers.

Agents ultimately seized from the property a cache of drugs that included cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, mushrooms, and various pills and capsules, including a discolored oxycodone that tested positive for fentanyl.

The case began when Mascolo was found dead in his Beverly Hills home in November 2020, allegedly after purchasing fentanyl-laced oxycodone pills from one of Todorova’s delivery drivers, Kather Sei.
