Several outlets including the BBC cited a statement from Avon and Somerset police in the U.K. announcing an inquiry into sets by the rap-punk group Bob Vylan and the Northern Irish rap group Kneecap.

The performance took place on the West Holts stage on Saturday afternoon, just ahead of another controversial rap group, Kneecap.

On Thursday a Cabinet minister said the rap group should not be allowed to perform at Glastonbury festival, where they are listed for the Saturday.

Irish rap group Kneecap have been in the spotlight for controversial reasons this week and BBC News NI asked young fans in their west Belfast home if their views of the group have changed.

The UK government has condemned alleged comments made by rap group Kneecap as "completely unacceptable" and suggested they should not be able to receive government funding.
