It's nearly 50 years since The Police released their debut album featuring tracks such as Roxanne and Can't Stand Losing You.

But four businesses away at Waxology Weho, employee Roxanne Moreno said she can hear the sound and finds it embarrassing that this is the solution used to address the homeless problem in the area.

Roxanne Tanemori, deputy director of Santa Monica’s community development department, said the action allowed for some schools to open in the city within weeks of the fire.

“A country without secure borders isn’t a country at all,” said Roxanne Hoge, communications director for the Republican Party of Los Angeles County.
