Boaters and jet skiers helped evacuate people out of the beach to another area where they were taken to a roadside turnout on Highway 173, just north of the lake.

The bodies of five skiers have been found by rescuers near Switzerland's luxury Zermatt resort.

Marovt had a goal to become a world-class skier along with the skills and passion to become one of the best to come out of his country.

The ski resort did not respond to questions from The Times, but said in a statement that they were “deeply saddened” by the accident and referred to Curtis as a “beloved skier.”

Alaska State Troopers said the skiers had all come from other states to the mountain near Girdwood, close to Alaska's largest resort, Alyeska.
