In April, the regional airline had reduced or changed flight times for nine services across four states, including routes between Sydney and Broken Hill, Melbourne and Wagga Wagga, and Adelaide and Port Lincoln.

Along the Murrumbidgee River near the town of Wagga Wagga floods peaked on Friday at the highest level since 2010.

Across the state border, more than 60 warnings are in place in New South Wales, including for the towns of Forbes and Wagga Wagga.

South of Forbes, parts of the city of Wagga Wagga were evacuated due to the Murrumbidgee River breaking its banks.

Riverine flooding is still threatening the inland town of Wagga Wagga, where some residents in low-lying areas were asked to evacuate overnight.
