Cherrydead, Gans and Meatdripper, all from Birmingham, will take to the stage at the city's town hall for BBC Radio WM Celebrates Metal in the Midlands on 2 July.

Chris Pegg, editor of BBC Radio WM, described Birmingham as the "birthplace of heavy metal".

Robin Campbell and Jimmy Brown told Ed James on BBC WM workers should be paid what they deserved.

He also told BBC WM that he had spoken to a friend who "everybody knows in the West Midlands" about taking part in the show before going in.
